Spring Wreath

I have been really (REALLY) jonesing to make this wreath that I found on Pinterest:

When I saw that AC Moore had ALL their yarn on sale this week for 30% off, I made a trip to get me some green fun fur. Well, guess what. They didn't have any. NONE. Grr.

But on my way in the store, I saw a really cute wreath that looked like a boa and had some cute Easter-y things on it (I didn't snap a picture, sorry). So, I decided that since I couldn't make this super cute green spring wreath, I would make an even cuter Easter-y wreath. I headed over to the boas.

Good grief - did you know that a single boa is $9.99?! Forget it. I stood in the aisle for a bit in a state of frustration. (Ask my dear friend, Gina - I texted her mid-frustration). Then I had a brilliant idea!

(Cue: Gru from "Despicable Me" saying, "Light Bulb")

I went back to the yarn aisle and found me some WHITE fun fur and some super cute Easter Egg pretty things and decided to make lemonade. I also incorporated the BRILLIANT idea I saw on Pinterest about using a swim noodle obtained for $1 at Dollar Tree for a wreath base instead of a floral wreath base which costs a pretty penny (and I haven't been able to find one anyway)

So, enough of my blabbering. Here's what I made:

I started with a yellow swim noodle, taped together with clear packing tape, and wrapped it with my WHITE fun fur.
Then I pinned on my cute Easter Egg pretty things:

And this is the final product, hanging on my front door:
